VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITES AT TELFORD & WREKIN CVS
Voluntary car drivers are needed to transport people. They need to be able to assist clients in and out of the car, be the owner/operator of a reliable car with comprehensive insurance, capable of carrying a folded wheelchair. The scheme operates 24 hours a day but based on the volunteers availability. The majority of our work takes place between 08.15 - 16.30 Mon to Fri. Although we do operate outside of these times.
mileage allowance is 40p per mile up to 10,000 per annum. Volunteers need to have the permission of their own insurance company and need to supply two references at the interview.
